Cellulite Cupping Massage At Home with Body Oils

Hi Lovelies!

We all fight this Monster! CELLULITE! I officially Hate You! I did tons of things to make sure I have the smoothest possible skin but it all comes back if you don't watch the diet, exercise or gained weight with pregnancy. I did LPG before but had to move from the area and it became too far to travel for appointments. The results were however incredible! Anyways...

Today my post will be about certain massage technique I use at home to eliminate cellulite and improve the area with stretch marks. I have no extra money or time to visit professionals but I still want to look great!

I always try to research before doing anything funky but this method totally got me hooked. It's called Cupping)

  1. Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; practitioners believe this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using heat (fire) or mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps).
    (Definition from google)
There are many ways Cupping can help although no 100% scientific evidence was found, this is why it is alternative medicine. But for the purpose of this post lets focus on the anti-cellulite and antistretchmarks uses.
So i googled and googled and then followed some great advice from a great motivator of mine and finally ordered the cup on ebay. It is a silicon cup that is somewhat easy to squeeze. You can buy bigger diameter one, which is also great and more effective they say. This one works for me.
I also got the glass set with different sizes because eventually when I have more time, I will be doing some exercises to reduce the wrinkles on my face and neck, yes only with the cups! No special creams! Will do a post on that as well.

Now all you need is your favorite oil or body lotion that does not dry out right away on the skin. My personal preferences are:

- organic coconut oil.
Everybody knows its benefits. It became so popular that people seem to add it everywhere now: cosmetics, food and what not) i massage my baby with it and My mother in law pours it on squeeky doors lol instead of WD-40 haha :)
I use this brand because we buy a lot of the groceries and other items at BJs. It's organic, it works for me.

- Bio Oil -
I first heard about this magical oil from an instagram account I follow. Young mother of two was so toned, her body was like a teenager's and I asked what was her secret. She made a separate post about this Bio Oil that she was applying day and night while she was pregnant and then afterwards it became a habit. It really moisturized the skin and helped prevent or reduce the appearance of stretch marks. I am personally rather lazy when it comes to consistency but with this oil it is so simple. It has no harsh smell, in fact I can barely smell it at all. It glides and dries very quickly.
- Clarins Body Treatment Oil
100% Pure Plant Extracts for firming and toning. I shopped in Sephora when I was pregnant for some products, which prevent or reduce stretch marks. So the assistant there recommended this "best-seller" at the time. The 100% plant extract meant to me it is natural and that it will not negatively affect my baby. Plus, the smell of the oil reminded me of the visit to my favorite spa in NYC at Mandarin Oriental Hotel. When i apply it all over I am automatically transferred into that relaxation room with my massage therapist and the sound of the little bell ringing for relaxation. I simply loved the experienced and this oil brings back those wonderful memories.

Soooo what you basically have to do is apply generous amount over the area you want to massage and use suction to attach the cup to the skin. Then with the cup still being sucked onto the skin you try to glide it over the skin in really whatever direction you want but alternating for better results. I do each leg ,for example, for 10 minutes.

Watch several Tutorials on Youtube like this one

Or this woman actually recorded each session to show the actual results

My results are very satisfying. The oils in combination with the cupping really smoothed out some of the orange skin looking areas. It takes time and consistency ladies! So if you started on this journey, don't give up because you will love the results.
Warning
- consult with a specialist before trying to make sure this technique will not do more harm than good.
- It will hurt at first! But it gets better witheach  session.
- after about a week or two after constant cupping, the cellulite area may look worse but dont worry it is because it is moving there and about to break down.
- You will get bruises if doing the first time and not sure how to attach the cup correctly!
- do not work with the inner thigh

Here is a photo I found online - (This is NOT my Butt lol)

My Boring Story ))

MY STORY

I wanted to properly introduce myself to anyone, who will be reading my blog.

I am Anna and I love makeup like most of the ladies out there.
~Love The World, and It Will Love You Back!~

I am not a professional makeup artist, although every now and then I just wish I had time to invest in some proper classes just for myself. I personally follow some great experts in this area like Samer, Goar and  Maya on instagram. They are true gurus! I can never figure out what it takes to be that perfect!

The links to their instagram are below the snapshots.

I get inspired everyday to practice, use new techniques and just enjoy looking in the mirror all refreshed and pretty.

Since I am a new mom (my baby turned 6 months in August 2015), I want to compensate for the look of my post preganncy body with a nice looking face since I became very sensitive about my whole image. (It's called post-partum depression haha - or "I found something to blame for my weaknesses"). I mean eventually I will try to get back to my real self with gym exercises and proper nutrition but sleep deprivation and breastfeeding are just so exsausting - gym is the last thing on my list of daily to-dos.
My World - Matthew
Yea, he Loves taking photos, Can you Tell?

So I have decided to share my personal experience with certain products I use on daily basis with you guys and talk about their pros and cons.

Some products I have been using for years and can definitely identify their long term effects but some I am trying like most of you through samples, or simply because I felt like buying something new to play with. I have tons of makeup from various brands because I like to experiment and there is simply no perfect company for me that would have everything that I think I may need. I love brands like Makeup Forever, Sephora, Chanel, Dior, Sysley, Cell Cosmet, Lancome, Benefit, Too Face, Nars, and my latest favorite Younique and many others I can't remember right now. I am trying to switch to all natural makeup or with less harsh chemicals and ingredients because of the long-term side effects products containing those may cause. I mean we are exposed to too many chemicals in our daily lives already.

Speaking of Younique, I have also decided to take an opportunity and turn my passion into a little business venture with Younique.

My story with the company started by trying their magical eye lash mascara with 3D fibers. I saw it being advertised all over instagram by well-known makeup artists and always wondered what it was until one of my Facebook friends invited me to participate in a "Virtual Party" she hosted. I though it was a sign from above LOL and bought the mascara and fell in love with it instantly.

I am also a stay-home mom and hated the fact I was tied and could not contribute financially to my independence . I hate asking for money to buy little things i need (like mascara, personal care products and other thingies). So I decided to join this movement and start making money myself through introducing my friends and then other women to this cosmetics company. I love some of the products. I am not saying all of them are that perfect but for a natural product most of it is of great quality and provide fantastic results.
(Note, not all products are 100% natural)

If you want to find out about the company and Join to become a Presenter like me, please ask me and I will be more than happy to help.

Now one more awesome fact about my life is that my Man is my Personal Stylist! He is a true Dream Come true :) All of my outfits are his vision of what his woman should look like and I simply play along)) I will be tagging the photos with the brands so that it is easier to search for them on the web if any of you are interested in the look.

Thank you so much and I will see you back here in the Blog with the next post!

What Facial Cleanser Do You Like / Recommend?

What Facial Cleanser Do You Like / Recommend?

Please share with us the information about your favorite Facial Cleanser below in the comments.
If you know about some treasure out there, it is your Duty to let the rest of the Ladies' World know.

My Preferences:

I have been using Neutrogena Naturals Facial Cleanser for so many years that when another bottle ran out, I decided to try something else. I usually use some of the cleanser on my

Smart Clarisonic

and it does a great job cleaning the impurities off. (Thanks to my dear girlfriend, who recommended it some time ago). Although it took time for the skin to adjust and stop breaking out.

Like everyone else I loooove samples and I tried some Products like Clinique and Clarisonic's own facial gel cleanser but none of those seem to be what I was looking for.

So I was searching online for a great substitute with natural ingredients and actually was more than pleased to realize Younique has a facial Cleanser too.

Illuminate Clean is made with Horse Chestnut, Ginko Biloba and Super Leaf Extracts. It is also good for normal/dry skin (Mine is mixed so it was perfect).

It is very costly ($39 for 100ml/3.3fl oz vs $5.99 for 6fl oz) but I will give it a try anyway
(i get 20% off through being a Youniqur Presenter).

Great News - You can Join Now and also get this discount!

I just ordered mine and I cannot wait to see the results. I will be using it separate without Clarisonic to see the effectiveness (they claim it to be super good in this video here  http://youtu.be/jFTc5Ba5RDE

but eventually will do a combo which is more effective anyway)

You can purchase or check out the Illuminate cleanser here www.youniqueproducts.com/annazakrepine
